This has been one of the most thought provoking questions that I have asked myself in recent times. Quite simply I am an accumulation of my past experience which when questioned with deeper understanding and meaning explains who I am today and explains how I coach & mentor.
It may be interesting for you to know that I was apprentice trained with Jaguar Cars, have Bachelors & Masters Degrees in Engineering, studied at Cranfield School of Management, have 17 years of engineering experience in the Automotive sector and 11 years senior management experience in the Aerospace sector with full responsibility for profit & loss. Or it maybe just as interesting to tell you that I have climbed mountains, been divorced, experienced 3 near death traumatic moments . . .
All of these, hopefully interesting, facts of course help to provide a better understanding of the question "Who Was I?" but it is the way in which I look back on all of those experiences and look upon them as if they were newly created cells constantly adding to and changing my DNA that actually answers the question "Who Am I?"
Why did I not just tell you about how I coach and what it is that I have to offer? It starts with the building of relationships . . . The building of relationships is a key part of how I coach, developing a harmonious relationship building rapport and trust working together in a safe contractual space.
It is important to understand who we are when forming any kind of relationship wether it be Coach and Coachee or employee and employer or deciding whether you wish to find out more or leave it just here . . .
